To answer an increasing call for environmentally responsible food services, Sustainable Fare, LLC, was founded and developed in 2007 as an independently operated food service and consulting company that focuses on integrated sustainable food systems designed for all food service institutions. Sustainable Fare’s emphasis is on locally grown foods and high quality seasonal menus, prepared fresh with unprocessed ingredients for healthy and nutritious meals. Sustainable Fare takes a holistic approach to the relationship between the community and the dining services to develop sustainable food practices that complement one another. Our mission is to provide the best possible sustainable food service available.
Through relationships with local growers and businesses we develop a network of environmentally responsible partnerships. With this objective we raise the awareness of social and ecological differences through the way we interact with food. The goal of Sustainable Fare is to assist all food service systems in becoming leaders and models of environmentally responsible food service.
